Coax a Smile Out
Do conversations need speech
Do conversations need speech
The spit and polish of words,
Does silence say nothing
Let’s ask the, chirping, trilling birds.
hey seem one of a kind
They all look alike too,
The chirp, their lingo, perhaps
Their wings so soft and true.
Remember, they flock together
Those of a single feather,
Spring follows the icy Winter
‘Tis never, just inclement weather.
The Golden rays of the rising Sun
Makes the fading Night, prettier,
It seems to blush, in the face of Day
Or, am I just getting sillier
But, in these rather trying times
We all need to spend time with smiles,
When a yard does, regretfully
Feel like a million miles.
Make one other person smile
Even once a day, folks,
Wear your smile too, on your lovely face
‘Tis always easier then , to coax.
