Might Is Seldom Right, Friends
Nothing lies eternal, friends
Nothing lies eternal, friends
Means don’t always achieve their ends,
Try walk the straight and narrow, mostly
And, avoid the path that, too, quickly bends.
Might is right is, awfully, flighty
Success lies in simple humility,
Admission is confession and no sin
Learn to say sorry, when you’re sorry.
Remember, we are no more than dust
Arrogance is the cause of all rust,
The ship that runs amuck on shore
Is the one that will split and bust.
Only God does live in the sky
Keep heads bowed, no glare in the eye,
Time well knows and acts too
When, it hears another’s justly cry.
