Enmity and Jealousy both see Virtue as a thorn
The fact of the flower, the Rose, eludes them,
We all know how deep the Oceans are, how severe
And, that is where, in the bed, lies hidden, the Gem.

Apparent to most eyes is the storm in the distance
Blows, as it does across the Deserts wide,
To the Dromedary and the rider ‘tis their daily toil
As they get billowed by it, from side to side.

Silence is, indeed, a Virtue, God’s gift to world
That which gets him close to his Creator
For, God speaks no audible words to Man or the Oak
That is why so silent, is the true prayer to the Maker.

Moses, blinded by a flash of light or summoned to Sinai
Who knows, who was there, ‘tis a matter of Faith and that’s right,
Who knows what the Good Lord said and, who what Moses heard
Was it Day or was it Dawn, or were there stars in sight.

Don’t need Science to explain the beauty in the Rainbow
The eye’s enough that magic to visually capture,
Ecstasy needs no witnesses, no evidences of any sort
You’re enraptured, when you are deep within the rapture.

See the Dervish in full flow, arms flailing in his whirl,
Lost to himself and the world, one with his Almighty,
Is God there, watching, feeling, perhaps, even twirling
Such is the glory of that ethereal Majesty.

Mundane is Life, and so must be lived that way too
Grossing it up is bad beyond the ‘grossing’ itself,
It leads to a change of the simple mindset
That we enter the world with, then leave minus power and pelf.

The letter ‘C’, represents the ultimate purpose of living,
Nor spelled out by the Good Lord, regretfully,
Allowing Man a liberty that he does not deserve
Moving away from “Contentment “ to discontent, sadly.
