What good is imprecation?
Why would you harm invoke?
On a similar creation,
Another mortal bloke.

Fie upon thee
Is a prerogative divine,
Look at Satan, poor chap,
Can't even call heaven mine.

And if your curses were to work
So would others' too.
What then would happen think, friend,
If they were to think like you,

So let's leave retribution to the One who knows,
He who punishes and mercy shows.
