Does the CIA have a larger game plan for South Asia?

Babar Ali, a senior TTP commander, says, “Entire country (Pakistan) is now under our control; we are present in every corner of Pakistan.” Some 200 TTP fighters are located close to Pakistan’s largest nuclear facility in Dera Ghazi Khan in  Pakistan’s Punjab

Sarah Adams, a former CIA official, has said that India is using the Taliban for cleaning up Kashmiri terrorists in Pakistan   (https://x.com/BattaKashmiri/status/1807067127377170457?t=wbwxbWCCQW15tqRyirDGmQ&s=08). This is perhaps the most bizarre postulation that one has come across and her expression indicates she probably knows she is lying.

The West - in conjunction with Pakistan - has been alleging that India’s external intelligence agency R&AW was killing terrorists in Pakistan. Given the periodicity of these killings, mostly by “unknown gunmen”, that too mostly in broad daylight, either Pakistan’s ISI is blind or has shut shop, which isn’t the case. The fact is that these terrorists have outlived their utility and are being killed by the ISI to reduce unwanted drain on funds, in addition to accommodating demands by the younger crop of terrorists for more power and control.

Blaming R&AW for the foreign killings may be boosting the ego of Indian politicians but it also instigates Pakistani, regional and global Islamist terrorists to exact revenge on India. Little wonder Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police, RR Swain says there are 70-80 “foreign terrorists" in J&K now.

Partners in crime?

The Western-Pakistani narrative is aimed at deteriorating the security situation in J&K and destabilizing South Asia.  If Indian intelligence was that deadly, CIA 'pet' Gurpatwant Singh Pannun would have vanished without a trace and so would  Canadian terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, although he was killed by the ISI for taking control of the narcotics trade.

The CIA, Mi6 and ISI have been partners in terrorism since ages.  Taliban, TTP, Haqqani Network, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Hafiz Gul Bahadur (HGB) group and other Pakistan-based terror groups are all interlinked. The US using Taliban-TTP to kill Chinese nationals in Pakistan is very much on the cards, with the US continuously in touch with Taliban through Qatar.

Taliban are constructing a well-equipped base with residential houses for the CIA-linked Al Qaeda network in the Ghazni province and three settlements for the TTP in Qarabagh district, Waghaz district, and on the outskirts of Ghazni city, according to the Hasht-e Subh daily.

The security situation in Pakistan has deteriorated with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) virtually under control of the TTP. Pakistan’s Member of Parliament, Maulana Fazlur Rehman told Pakistan’s National Assembly on June 26, 2024 that 40-50,000 TTP fighters are in the KPK region and police stations ordered shut in  evenings (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NN_D81OPNI). Since mid-2021, the TTP has claimed merger with 47 Pakistani Taliban factions/sectarian groups and Al Qaeda affiliates. The HGB group that joined TTP is also linked with Haqqani Network and Al Qaeda.

Babar Ali, a senior TTP commander, says, “Entire country (Pakistan) is now under our control; we are present in every corner of Pakistan.” Some 200 TTP fighters are located close to Pakistan’s largest nuclear facility in Dera Ghazi Khan in  Pakistan’s Punjab. Muhammad Naik Waziristani, commander of the group, says it is important to acquire nuclear weapons for protecting Muslim Ummah from invasion of their lands by foreign forces.

The US gave birth to Al Qaeda in conjunction with Pakistan, and in tandem with Turkey-Jordan the ISIS, presently employed in Afghanistan/South Asia, Central Asia and Middle East. Michael Flynn, former head of US DIA has publicly stated that the rise of Islamic State and Jabhat al-Nusra was a “willful decision” of the US.

In 2015-2016, Pakistan raised a brigade-worth of Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) in Peshawar with full knowledge of the CIA. This terrorist organization was then pushed west into Afghanistan - Afghans used to call it “Pakistani Brigade”. Later, the US began pushing ISIS cadres into the Badakhshan region of Afghanistan through Pakistan to pressure China and the Russian presence in Tajikistan.

Munir Akram, Pakistan’s permanent representative to the UN, has requested the US to supply modern weapons and equipment for executing Pakistan’s new counter-terrorism strategy codenamed ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’. These modern weapons will only land up in the hands of terrorists attacking J&K, similar to US-supplied weapons to Pakistan in the past, as also US weapons abandoned in Afghanistan in August 2021.

Destabilizing South Asia?

The US wants to destabilize South Asia (same as it has been doing in the Middle East) and looks forward to an India-China war. The TTP and the HGB group are trending ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ since mid-March 2024 and Al Qaeda is posting messages in Bengali language (https://x.com/LevinaNeythiri/status/1806202445040635908?t=TWAGd8BRLYzndDK46jVU9g&s=03). As the US is trying to force a nuclear exchange in Ukraine, an online radical platform has published pdf copies of “How to Make Weapons of Mass Destruction”.

American think tanks networked with the US administration plan years in advance how to orchestrate future situations to advance US national interests. One example is making Pakistan party to the Siachen Glacier area. In 1967, US Defense Mapping Agency began showing India-Pakistan boundary on Tactical Pilotage Charts from NJ 9842 to the Karakoram (KK) Pass without justification and documentation, cartographically giving the entire Siachen-Saltoro area to Pakistan. Many official-private cartographers and atlas producers followed suit and Pakistan eventually claimed this as its boundary.

In the ‘Big Game’ India is only a pawn for the US, notwithstanding American propaganda about "shared strategic interests".  The Guardian says the CIA has a long history of eliminating  leaders worldwide (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/may/05/cia-long-history-kill-leaders-around-the-world-north-korea). Robert Crowley, second-in-command of the CIA's covert operations, confesses that CIA killed India’s nuclear physicist Dr Homi J Bhabha and Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri  (https://x.com/AartiTikoo/status/1549108570813112320?t=3AUVVLzHgzrkS_2Uzz4LKw&s=03). Pakistani President Ayub Khan had agreed (in the presence of Russians) to sign a no-war pact with India the next day, which the CIA did not want.

That is why the CIA is doodling India.

A very well analysed article. Indian polity faces a grave danger. Enemies within & in the neighborhood are a reality. It is a "no holds bar' scenario!

Very informative sir. The CIA keeps instigating one nation against another in Asia. It is time Asian countries understood this and stopped trying their one upmanship.
