Nepal’s former prime minister Jhalanath Khanal has been flown to New Delhi after he developed post Covid-19 complications, media reports say.
In May, he contracted Covid-19 and recovered thereafter. However, on June 14, he developed clinical complications and was admitted to Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal.
On Wednesday, his secretariat informed that he would be flown to New Delhi for further treatment at Apollo Hospital. He has developed several respiratory and other issues, reported The Himalayan Times.
Khanal was Nepal’s prime minister for a brief period from July 2011 to August 2011.
