The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) are yet to receive written assurances from the Indian cricket board BCCI regarding the issue of visas to the Pakistan Cricket team for the ICC World T20 in October, Dawn News reported.

The PCB is pondering over sending a security delegation to India in September to assess the security arrangements for the Pakistan team there, the report said.

Meanwhile, the recent rapid rise of cases in India has put some doubts on the ICC mega event, according to reports.

Reports in the Indian media have said Board of Control for Cricket in India Secretary Jay Shah has informed the Apex Council about the government’s decision on issuing visas to the Pakistan players.
