"Sikhs are legendary, Salute to their service" Bachchan made the contribution with this message, said Sirsa who is also the national spokesperson for Akali Dal party.
The 78-year-old actor has also ensured that oxygen concentrators from overseas reached the facility. He also asked Sirsa not to worry about money and sav as many lives as possible.
"While Delhi was struggling for oxygen, Amitabh Ji called me almost daily to enquire about the progress of this facility," he added.
Rakab Ganj Gurdwara facility starts operating from Monday will be a 400-bed Covid-care center with all amenities to manage critical covid cases like doctors, paramedics, ambulances and oxygen concentrators, IBNS said.
