Health guidelines to open Sri Lanka's airports for tourists

A joint committee of tourism and health authorities has been appointed to open Sri Lanka’s airports to foreign tourists and to prepare health guidelines for the advancement of the tourism industry

A joint committee of tourism and health authorities has been appointed to open Sri Lanka’s airports to foreign tourists and to prepare health guidelines for the advancement of the tourism industry.

The committee includes officials from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Tourism as well as members from the tourism industry, the Ministry of Health said.

The health and tourism authorities decided to take further action as soon as the committee’s recommendations were received. According to the decisions of the committee, foreign nationals will be brought to the country
