Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa expressing hope that all Muslims will join hands to defeat all forms of extremism, called on people to eliminate hatred and suspicion among each other to achieve mutual prosperity, reconciliation among different ethnic groups.

In a message celebrating the Milad Un Nabi Prophet Muhammad's Birthday, the President said “We must eliminate hatred and suspicion among each other and live with the qualities that Prophet Muhammad preached.”
