Colombo (News1st): The number of COVID – 19 patients in the country rose to 190, after one person tested positive for the virus on Thursday, health officials said.

Government statistics show that the number of active patients stands at 134 with the number of recoveries at 49.

Seven people have died due to the virus, with the latest being of a 44-year old man who had been receiving treatment at the IDH Hospital yesterday.
