From Saturday 21 November, travelers from Sri Lanka will no longer be required to self-isolate on arrival in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the British High Commission in Colombo said.
“Lifting this restriction will ease travel from Sri Lanka to parts of the UK, whilst managing the risk of further infections. This is particularly great news for prospective students wishing to benefit from the UK’s world class university system,” British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Sarah Hulton said.
The Department for Transport Thursday announced that ten countries including Sri Lanka have been added to the travel corridor list for England, Wales and Northern Ireland following a decrease in risk from coronavirus (COVID-10) in these destinations.
