Deputy Leader of the United National Party (UNP) Ruwan Wijewardene said that all parties should unite to put aside political differences to protect the country and the people from the Corona epidemic.

He pointed out that this challenge must be faced utilizing the experience of all parties in order to protect the country and the people.

Mr. Wijewardene expressed these views while participating in a ceremony in parallel to the Katina ceremony to unveil the newly constructed golden fence around the Bo tree at the Sri Samudrarama Temple in Dampiyagama, Wadduwa on the 15th.
