Sri Lankan Minister of Home Affairs Chamal Rajapaksha said in parliament that the government will not spare anyone proven to be guilty in last year's horrific Easter Sunday attack.

Following the release of the brother of former minister Rishad Bhatiudeen’s release  from Police Detention. Opposition members raised the question over laxity of government in the probe.

The Easter Attack, which happened on 21 April last year, killed 267 people and injured another 500 people. The failure to stop the attack costed the government public fury over massive intelligence failure.
