COVID-19: Recovery number crosses 2.5 lakh mark

The total number of people who recovered from COVID-19 so far in the country has reached 2,50,412 with 2,443 new recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS)

The total number of people who recovered from COVID-19 so far in the country has reached 2,50,412 with 2,443 new recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The recovery rate stands at 72.74 percent.

Thirty-six people have died from COVID-19 in the country in the meantime, the release added.

The total number of deaths has now reached 4,859 and the death rate stands at 1.41 percent.
