President of Russia Federation, Vladimir Putin, said US withdrawal from Afghanistan may spark instability in the country. Putin said we backed the “presence of US troops in Afghanistan” after the attack of 9/11.

Speaking to Russiya 1 Tv channel, Putin said, “I still believe US presence in Afghanistan does not run counter to our external goals.” Remind the world community to spend more energy and effort to maintain the stability in Afghanistan, he said, “personally I believe US presence has contributed to stability in Afghanistan.”
