Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has called for forging energies to jointly build a closer China-Pakistan community of shared future in the emerging era, adding that the ties between the two countries have transformed into an ‘All-weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership’ after seven decades.
The remark came on Wednesday during his address in a dialogue organized between the Communist Party of China and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the principal ruling party there.
“We are fully committed to complete ongoing CPEC projects and make CPEC a high-quality demonstration project of BRI,” Qureshi was quoted as saying by Pakistan Today. He also said he is willing to enhance party-to-party dialogue between the two countries.
In his address, he also compared his party’s vision of building “Naya Pakistan” and the ideology of CPC of realizing ‘Great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation’ carry similarity of goals as per the aspirations of their people.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan also acknowledged that China’s remarkable achievements in all-around national development are a role model for all developing countries, he said.
He also highlighted the exemplary cooperation between the two countries in managing the Covid crisis.
