PakistanI ambassador in Germany, Dr Mohammad Faisal, on Wednesday said that unknown assailants had murdered a Pakistani citizen identified as Shahid Nawaz in Stuttgart.

Taking to Twitter, he said that the tragic incident took place on Monday and police were investigating the case and search for attackers was under way.

26-year-old Nawaz, who hails from Punjab’s Gujrat city, was a deputy Imam at a mosque in Stuttgart.
