An exhibition is being showcased at the Nepal Art Council in Kathmandu to support cancer patients.

The exhibition has been organised by the Man Bahadur Shrestha Memorial Foundation, that helps cancer patients and creates awareness about prostate cancer, in Nepal.

Titled ‘Legacy’, the exhibition hopes to provide 50 percent of its proceeds from the artworks’ sale to social organisations supported by the foundation since 2016, according to the Kathmandu Post.

The exhibition displays the works of four generations of one family -Jhasendra Bikram Rana, a former Royal Nepal Army Major; Sudarshan Bikram Rana and Sunita Rana, both contemporary artists; and Pradhi Rana, their daughter.

The works of the artists display diverse ideas - from the faith, the metamorphosis to the artists’ different muse and interests.

The exhibition also presented the foundation’s private collection that included the works of famed artists, Kiran Manandhar and Hari Khadka.
