How deep dive in AI can help Mankind, but AI can't replace human intelligence
We are aware that the change in information is proportional to the total accumulative existing knowledge on a particular subject and hence this leads to its exponential growth. Yet no matter how much the processing power of AI is, it will still remain bound by the existing knowledge and the environment which produced it.

We normally find almost anything on the internet by using search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. For most of our daily work and understanding this simple search is sufficient. Even researchers use these types of tools to find scholarly papers, patents, etc.
However Artificial Intelligence (AI) has shown us that we can dive deeply into any topic and the results are amazing.
For example Google Gemini or Chat GPT and so many other AI tools can produce results which otherwise may take a long time to find by regular plodding research. (This article is not about promotion of any particular AI tool but gives their examples for clarification).
An example will make this clear. I have written a lot about how human thought can interact with gravity. With my research I was able to show that human thought is a hologram created by a large number of photons when neurons fire.
I then conjectured that this hologram which is a low energy electromagnetic (EM) radiation could interact with space-time continuum and bend it. Intuitively I could show that light could bend space-time (which is gravity according to Einstein). This line of thinking I felt may explain mind-matter interactions. This was also supported by a few research articles.
The articles were obtained by the regular process of Googling the relevant words and phrases. Obviously, it took some work and time, and I was not sure if all the things were covered.
Then out of curiosity I used Google Gemini deep search. Within 5-10 minutes I received a 32-page mini treatise of how light bends space-time. Almost everything published on this subject till now was covered in this treatise. It was wonderful to read it, and I found it very informative and enlightening.
Also, I was pleasantly surprised that my hunch was proven correct and yes light does bend space-time continuum, though this interaction is at a very deep level.
This deep dive in AI for finding answers is a remarkable research tool. And with time it will get better. Thus, this tool can be a great place to start any research.
AI Can Be Good Research Tool
In recent past material from Wikipedia was used to start searching but lots of material on Wikipedia is not authentic. I therefore feel in coming days and years these deep dive AI tools will provide far better and authentic tools for research.
However, we should be very clear that these AI tools only produce collection of research materials on what is available on the internet and published on it. It cannot go into research labs, talk to people or look at what is being worked on presently. Thus, it can be a good starting place for research in any area and nothing more.
What can be really troublesome and dangerous is when researchers start believing that AI generated output is the ultimate truth. All the results obtained from such searches should therefore be evaluated with wisdom, vivek and good scientific tools for authenticity and replicability since many times AI tools “hallucinate” and can produce erroneous results.
AI promoters and practioners feel that in the coming years AI deep dive tools will take over most of human thinking processes and will produce wonderful discoveries and inventions unheard of. I feel that this will happen in a very limited way.
We are aware that the change in information is proportional to the total accumulative existing knowledge on a particular subject and hence this leads to its exponential growth. Yet no matter how much the processing power of AI is, it will still remain bound by the existing knowledge and the environment which produced it.
The leap of faith knowledge like Newton’s laws of light, gravity and motion or Einstein’s general theory of gravitation came because both these geniuses were able to tap into universal knowledge which was a spiritual process.
Things AI Cannot Duplicate
Similarly great works of art or music could not come by just making incremental improvements on the existing material but by being connected to knowledge space. These are the qualities of human beings which AI can never duplicate.
The spiritual nature of human existence therefore can never be duplicated by AI and thus the emotions of fear, awe, love and enlightenment are what differentiates living from non-living entities.
Yes, it is true that with tremendous advancements in AI and other technologies we will create humanoid robots capable of performing great calculations and superhuman tasks, but they will still be AI and not real intelligence!
