Invincible Man, The Amalgam of Fragile parts

Let’s talk today

Let’s talk today
Of notions, false and true,
Are we one, basically
Or, always Me and You.

Was there more camaraderie
In the ages gone by,
When the stars shone bright
As we looked at the sky.

Were we less plagued by doubt
Was the God not the same,
Did He, surreptitiously, one day
Go change His name.

What was he called
By the first Man on Earth,
If we could really find out
Would be billions worth.

We could, perhaps,
Go back to that name,
End all strife, live happily
If we all call Him by the same.

How strong is Man, we all need to wonder
When all he is, is the sum of fragile parts,
The Mind, we know is swayed easily
And, the less said the better of our crazy hearts.

Hunger and thirst
Dominate the world,
While we’re busy ensuring
That WMD’s are nicely hurled.

I am “nuclear” for I am responsible
And “You” are, of intentions, highly unclear,
Is it anagrams we play with , Or
Can I demand you stay, “non-nuclear”.

The Climate is changing
So, let it change says one “joker”,
Thank heavens, then
Two wiser people get together.

Could be a Tom and a Jerry
Or, two unknowns of some repute,
Like, Pingpong and Kerry
In shirt and tie or some kind of suit

But, this has not been a talk at all
It’s a monologue, Ashok, down a one- way street,
They usually meet “dead-ends”, you know
However powerful your naval fleet

Now, please keep ships out of this
And, let them be out at Sea,
South China, North China, or Brazil if you like
Or, maybe the Arctic (wherever that is), holds
The Mighty Key.

If you’ve got time to waste
(As if you can even do that)
Then talk about the above
For, you can only “spend” time
So, go engage in love

And, if that beats you hollow
Then forget the path that’s been beaten,
If you’re thirsty come join me
If you’re hungry, you’re silly
‘Coz you just haven’t eaten.

The crux of all brilliance
Is the inanity of it,
If you don’t need the dictionary
Your mind is well lit
(Its fragility wisely disregarded).

Adios, one word for “Cheers”.
