Materialism at its Zenith
Materialism’s at its Zenith Now
But, Money can’t buy God nor ever will,
Materialism’s at its Zenith Now
But, Money can’t buy God nor ever will,
The street called Mammon’s a dead-end
From here, ‘tis all destruction and downhill.
Wars don’t bring Peace
Nor ever will,
The wrath of Nights unmistakable
When havoc is wrought and nothing lies still.
That darkness then envelops the Mind
And, Daylight loses its sheen,
Nature then is made to suffer
And, tragically, loses its Green.
Imagine the World a Sandy place
Forlorn, as Deserts are,
Is this Progress the Growth of Man
Oh! From Humanity how Far !
Wars, Floods, Landslides, and the like
Nature’s Fury and Revenge,
Let’s put our thinking caps on, friends
The Lord’s ways speak of disastrous Avenge!
