Police arrested a man in Khulna for reportedly sending obscene text messages to Kolkata's popular actress Srabanti Chatterjee.

The arrestee, Md Mahbubor Rahman, 33, a resident of Khulna’s Bokshipara, managed the actress’s phone number a few months back and since then had been disturbing the artiste.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Sonadanga Model police station, Md Momtajul Haque said, Srabanti had filed a complaint with the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh.
