Beijing: The Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation has announced today their donations of medical supplies to Asian countries, including Sri Lanka.

In a statement, the foundations said their goal is to aid the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in these nations, to follow with more support for other neighbouring countries as well.

“Go Asia! We will donate emergency supplies (1.8M masks, 210K test kits, 36K protective suits, plus ventilators & thermometers) to Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan & Sri Lanka. Delivering fast is not easy, but we’ll get it done!” China’s richest man Jack Ma tweeted.
