Sri Lanka’s political leaders today congratulated President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on their victory in the 2020 US presidential election on Saturday.

Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa taking to Twitter congratulated the President-elect Biden on his “historic victory”. “Look forward to working closely with you to strengthen the bilateral relations between our two countries.”
