Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today asserted that his government will not allow those who are responsible for designing and enabling the Easter Sunday attacks to escape justice and the action will be taken against all parties involved in the attack by the extremists.

“We will not allow those responsible for designing and enabling this tragedy to escape justice. We will never allow extremism to raise its head again, in this country,” the President said addressing the nation today marking the 73rd anniversary of Independence.

The President said he has now received the final report of the Presidential Commission appointed to inquire into the Easter Sunday Attacks and has already given instructions to implement its recommendations.
