Preliminary work is underway to send young people from Sri Lanka to Korea, Japan and Romania for new careers, Labor Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva said.

Addressing a public meeting in Badulla yesterday (23), the Minister said, in the field of foreign employment, so far the focus was on positions such as housemaid and laborer but the government has started sending young people to new careers in countries like Korea, Japan and Romania.
