Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Health has banned all public gatherings in the island until further notice in light of rising COVID-19 infections in the Minuwangoda Brandix cluster.

Accordingly, parties, conferences, seminars, lectures, exhibitions, concerts, festivals, processions, demonstrations and all other non-essential gatherings are prohibited till further notice.
