Months after being closed due to COVID-19, schools in Bhutan will start their next sessions from February next year, the Ministry of Education has announced.

While the ministry asked teachers to report in their respective schools from February 1, students from class IV to VIII  and from pre-primary to class III were asked to start attending classes from February 3 and 15 respectively in the next year.

Those from the secondary and the higher secondary will have their board exams in March, so they will start attending classes a bit late from April.
