The Simplest but Hardest Thing to Do
There is no simpler things to do
There is no simpler things to do
And, yet beyond the power of most,
For ego does its role play
That of a royal host.
How often do we feel remorse?
Then bottle it up within,
To only make ourselves sad
And carry a regretful din.
It does not lower prestige
Nor lower the false sense of vanity,
It ony shows how true we are
How profound is humility.
If you haven't guessed it so far
Then, you have a problem too,
Look within and ask yourself
Isn't what I say true?
Yes, it's the 'sorry' word, my friends,
That seems to be a herculean task
Whereas, it surely is just so simple
A truly simple ask.
Why can't we learn to a 'sorry' say?
And, shed some useless weight,
Bring smiles to another's face
And Sunshine within create.
