There is no smoke without a fire

Nothing’s achieved without desire, Ambition’s not the same as greed To the difference, we must pay heed.
The grass seems greener the other side Why am I buried by a rising tide?

The sands of time are the same for all Remember that which rises, will one day fall.

A stitch in time saves nine
Being tardy is never fine,
If you miss the bus there’ll be another one Laugh at the misses, it is great fun.

The Lord didn’t make you to wealthy be
And, if you are don’t forget humility,
The head bowed low keeps one grounded Never was a castle on sands founded.

Time stands still for no one, folks,
It might seem to, but that’s a hoax, 
Time’s an errant mistress, we know Where does it fly, 
where does it go?

The Will of God will always prevail
Man will achieve and also fail,
A prayer on the lips is a wise thing
For, peace of mind it will mostly bring.
