Someone keep me company,
Someone share some thoughts with me,
I miss the quiet of the tea for two,
There is a me – but where’s the you?

Quiet moments of despair,
Need some comfort to repair,
Can’t be done alone by me,
Someone keep me company.

Someone keep me company,
Be by my side and set me free,
Walk me through the reverie,
Lend a helping hand to destiny.

Share my sorrows and my grief,
Reaffirm my faith and belief,
In myself and in thee;
Someone keep me company.

Someone keep me company,
Take me where I have to be;
Unspoken words, a gentle nudge,
When I don’t listen and I don’t budge.

One plus one is always two,
But has to be both me and you,
Remember, I am company,
To you who are the same to me.
